Our Mission

Masakhane is an Early Childhood Development Preschool serving the impoverished community of Masiphumelele in Cape Town South Peninsula.

Masakhane provides a happy environment for a current enrolment of 126 children served by 6 teachers and a growing contingent of support staff.

Masakhane provides a loving environment to nurture and uplift children and teachers who otherwise face a life of difficult circumstances and limited prospects.
